PLOT TO STEAL SUMBI'S BODY BY CONCUBINE EXPOSED.

A heinous plot to steal and secretly bury the late Kakamega County Chief Of Staff  Robert Sumbi by a concubine was last week scuttled after police refused to cooperate.

Information in our possession shows that despite the officer's legal wife Mrs Sissy Nandama Sumbi obtaining stay orders and filing a case in court, the known concubine is determined to disinherit Mrs. Sumbi.

We have established that the concubine Ivone Tunai had planned with three seniour County officials to have the body stolen and buried at a private cemetery in Kisumu for unknoiwn reasons.

The first Officer mentioned in the plot is Assembly Speaker Moriss Buluma who was to produce the funding of the night activity in which unscrupulous police officers were to be paid to escort the body of Sumbi from its current location to the secret interment location.

Another officer severally mentioned due to his closeness to Ms Tunai is the Assembly Clerk Laban Atemba who it is claimed has been holding night meetings with the concubine for unknown reasons in Kakamega hotels.

An insider at the Kakamega police station has said that the deseased's brother is also part of the plan putting in mind that he was chased from Sumbi's home in Ekero a week before Robert passed on as he attempted to grab some official documents from his late brother's wife.

We have established that Mumias east MP Benjamin Washiali had turned down requests from the late Sumbi's brother to help in settling the case out of court but the MP fearing he could burn his fingers adviced the two families to let the case proceed to full hearing in court.

Putting in Mind that Sumbi was harboring dreams of contesting the Mumias east  Parliamentary seat, sources intimated that Honorable washiali has avoided commenting on the saga for his own good politically.

Another dirty plot that was being advanced by the Clerk Atemba's group was for Ms Tunai to move to Eldoret Court and Obtain orders lifting those imposedby the Kakamega Court but a lawyer adviced against this move arguing it could be termed as being in bad faith.

Mrs Sumbi moved to the Chief Magistrate's court in Kakamega on realizing that the concubine had, using black magic influenced the late to draft a will that left her as the legally wedded wife out of his inheritance.

According to an order dated 3rd November, the respondents who are Augustine Sumbi, the late's brother and Yvone Tunai were barred from removing the body of the late Robert John Sumbi from the Kakamega  Mortuary and burying the same in any way.

The order issued by Honorable H Wandera the Senior Resident Magistrate came as a blow to Ms Tunai who thought that her plans backed by Assembly crooks was going to work. the hearing of the application by Mrs Sussy Nandama and Nataly Sumbi is scheduled for 17th November 2020 in Kakamega.

Another school of thought has emerged that Kakamega Governor Whycliffe Oparanya had registered some of his prime properties in the late SUMBI'S names.

It is along this thinking that forces in the county government want the Concubine to take charge of the late's body because unlike Mrs Sumbi who is regarded as 'difficult' can play ball and surrender the property to the Governor.

Some of the properties that Oparanya is said to have 'hidden' we have established include Mansions in Nairobi's Kitengela, prime plots in Kajiado and several high end cars acquired suspiciously.

Other sources say the Late SUMBI'S Bank accounts were stashed with millions of shillings that belong to the Governor.

A source close to the Governor says it will be a disaster for Mrs Sumbi to be given her way because she can not be convinced to release the properties to Governor Oparanya who had used the former Minister as a conduit.
