LUGARI MP. ELDERS SEEK REHABILITATION.



40 ELDERS from Lugari Constituency are looking for a well wisher with who to partner for rehabilitation help on their MP Ayub Savula. 

Speaking in Kakamega town the elders led by Michael Luchivya said they were seeking audience with the individuals or Companies to help raise funds that can rehabilitate their MP who they claim is an alcoholic. 

The elders are calling on cooperates or individuals in Kakamega or away to help contribute to their proposal to the effect. 

"unfortunately we don't have a rehabilitation center in Kakamega and we hope someone of good standing can also get us well wishers to help in making sure that our MP is not completely consumed in alcohol". Mr Savula has also declared he would run as Kakamega governor in 2022.

Lugari MP Ayub Savula is seen arguing with an air hostess who was trying to calm him after he confronted tow other passengers.

The MP was on Sunday, December 13 arrested for allegedly harassing passengers in Kisumu aboard a Nairobi-bound plane.

According to reports, the authorities took action after a passenger in the same plane with him lodged a complaint.

According to the passenger, Dorothy Oliech, the MP was relentlessly winking at her despite warning him about the behavior.

“The onset of all this is, he was winking to a lady seated next to me and this behavior was totally unacceptable to us and he was requested to stop, after which he started abusing me, my mother and father,” Oliech stated.

Hon. Savula was also accused of harassing singer Bahati who was trying to take photos and videos of the rowdy MP.

Speaking on the matter, Savula denied the claims insisting that he did not wink at any of the women.

“How could I have winked at them when I was seated right in front of them? My eyes are not on my rear head and their claims are malicious and full of lies.

“Those are lies and she will pay for it. I am a respected MP in this country,” Savula told a local publication.

Later a video of the MP surfaced online with a cockpit assistant trying to calm him down to no avail.
