EXCLUSIVE VIDEO LUGARI MP LECTURES FORMER CS ACHESA AS DP WATCHES.
LUGARI MP Ayub savula over the weekend lectured and belittled Former sports CS Rashid Achesa as the DP William Ruto watched pensively.
Speaking at the funeral of politician Paul Posho's mother, Savula known locally as the crocodile, told off Achesa over threats of harm if he {Savula}, talked about impeachment of the DP.
The abrasive journalist turned politician rubbished Mr. Achesa's words as cheap and empty threats that he uses against villagers. "I want to be governor Kakamega County and I will not be threatened by anybody you incleaded he said {as he pointed the direction where Mr. Achesa was seated}.
Savula and Ruto sat close to each other at the burial of Silphosa Akoth, mother of local politician Paul Posho who quit Matungu mini-poll race and has vowed to back Mr Lanya, the DP’s candidate.
At the Funeral Mumias East MP Benjamine Washiali said Savula was being used by Ruto’s detractors to scuttle the DP’s presidential quest.
Honourable Savula vowed to continue pushing for the impeachment motion against the deputy president once parliament is in operation this year..
Hon. Savula seized the opportunity to drum up support for his party boss Musalia Mudavadi, urging Ruto to back the former vice president.
“We have had other tribes in power and now it is time for the Luhya community to lead, you Ruto should support Mudavadi in 2022.”
Mr. Achesa had earlier been booed and heckled by angry mourners who accused him of wasting his time as Minister in funeral politics and never empowered anybody.
DP Ruto steered clear of the impeachment motion debate and instead told the mourners that he intend to form a government that would take care of the needs of all Kenyans in 2022.
He said the focus should be on providing accessible universal health care program to the people, creating jobs for the youth and reviving collapsed Mumias sugar company.
ANC Candidate Peter Oscar Nabulindo had a field day because as he spoke, everybody listened and he was wildly cheered in actions that have buoyed his candidature.
Ruto said he was determined to change the way government functions by shifting the focus on ordinary person including boda riders and mama mboga as opposed to satisfying the interests of the rich in society. He urged proponents of the Building Bridges Initiative (BBI) to hurry and finish up their constitutional reforms, to enable the government to continue with its developmental agendas.
Ruto defended the hustler movement narrative, stating that he would ride on the same to succeed his boss Uhuru Kenyatta in 2022.
“I know many people around here are hustlers who are looking to make ends meet, that is why I am telling you that we need to invest in them,” said Ruto.
Contrary to claims that the narrative could incite Kenyans, Ruto said he was committed to the economic well-being of Kenyans.
Earlier, Ruto attended the burial of Regina Akumu in Funyula, Busia County, where he questioned why, up to now, Kenyans were yet to get copies of BBI.

POLITICAL SCORECARD DURING MAMA POSHO BURIAL:
Mama Posho was laid to rest yesterday in a function that saw political players exchange bitterly and as usual it was messy and we had casualties;
1. Rashid
He emerged as the biggest victim, he has been feared for far too long that many thought no one can dare him but yesterday this myth was burried. From our sourced the guy is still nursing yesterday shame using a no of bottles but still the injury seems way far from healing.
2. Washiali
Many shouted his name when the DP asked mourners about individuals who brought Mumias sugar down to it's knees, matters Mumias are usually emotive and Washiali will get it rough trying to opine anything in wanga land. If he ever thought of himself as a senior wanga leader he should think of dropping such ambitions.
3. Lanya
This is the uda candidate and funny enough none of the uda big names dared drum support for him, for record purposes no one mentioned his name despite uda spending a fortune in the same event.
Nabulindo
The ground was soft for him and it was quiet when he took to the podium. He made it clear he's home and welcomed visitors as well as reminding them matters Matungu have been well planned by Matungu residents.
5. Savula
The crocodile boldly and successfully took on Rashid and was much applauded by the mourners. He boldly mentioned his candidate who luckily to him resonated well with mourners.
6. Khalwale
The witty doctor after learning the mood of the mourners avoided Lanya as plague and no one had a reason to be mad with him and as a result he gave his speech uninterrupted unlike our two thick brothers.
7. Were
He played safe by not attending the burial thus avoiding imminent embarrassment which was fully taken by uda brigade.
8. Ruto
He proved to be shrewd by avoiding to mention unpopular Lanya thus people having no valid reason to embarrass him.
Regards
Emmanuel Makokha.
